Blomi is an ongoing exploration of beauty and transformation through floral photography. The series began during a period of emotional turbulence, when photographing flowers became a way to surround myself with colour, light, and life in a dark time.

The word blomi, from Old Norse, means "to bloom" but can also suggest thriving or flourishing.

The flowers in Blomi appear in various forms: blurred, abstracted, imperfect. They echo the disorientation I felt, but also suggest how beauty often reveals itself in unexpected ways. The lightness of flowers became a resistance against heaviness, a way of celebrating life.
